As many of you know I just started sharing some of my dark past regarding domestic violence. October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, and while I am freaked out about how much was revealed, I am deeply honored to have contributed to this exceptional documentary film from the Notoriety Network. Sharing my story among these beautiful fellow SHERO souls has been life changing. When you reveal you heal! These are incredible women who have not only survived horrific experiences in their past, but they are thriving! Their presence is powerful, the stories are real, and you will be blown away by the sheer tenacity and strength of these beautiful spirits walking among us. Also, a special thank you to all of my supporters during the SHERO Foundation Gala this past February. Your support or presence at the Gala meant the world to me.
Find the Notoriety Network on Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Android TV, Roku, the IOS Store, Google Play Store, and of course online. The #SHERO project documentary direct link: #SHERO project. The documentary will be available for anyone to view for the next month. After that time, use the code “SHERO” to view it for free.
Domestic abuse has surged in the wake of COVID-19 and has been called the “Shadow Pandemic.” The United Nations have recently partnered with tech giants Google, Twitter and Facebook to elevate information about helpline services for domestic violence survivors, and launched the “Shadow Pandemic” Public Awareness Campaign.
