Joining me today is Simone Bey, an inspiring and joyful individual who I have had the pleasure of knowing for many years! Simone works as a Director of Global Medical Information for one of the major pharmaceutical companies and comes from the unique background of being an ICU Stroke Nurse. Simone is truly passionate about listening to her inner spirit and exploring the unexpected opportunities that have presented themselves to her. It is amazing to hear her willingness to embrace opportunity and how this has truly contributed to her success.
This amazing women has not only thrived in an industry that she never pictured herself in, but has also overcome some significant personal events to get to where she is. As a previous victim of domestic violence, Simone shares snippets of this terrible experience, the pivotal moment that made her leave, and how this positively changed the course of her personal life, despite the fact that she faced significant pushback. As October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we ask you to hear Simone’s story, spread awareness around domestic violence, and help end this violence against women & children.
With Simone’s story, it is very important to focus on the importance of self-care and how you need to take care of yourself before you can help others. I know you will be truly inspired by her amazing story and the courage she has to overcome adversity and be open to the opportunities around her!
